"I did not want to move out of my own house in California.  It was hard.  I did not want to be lonely and I was afraid I was going to have no friends and  no one to talk to.  I did not know what moving to Colorado was going to be like.  My daughter has everything ready when I moved in and it just felt like home right away.  Everyone is so friendly, so nice, I knew then it would be OK.  They asked if I wanted to have anything special to eat since I had lost so much weight. The food is excellent.  They even celebrate your birthday with the menu you want and they do it on your special day.  I think it is independent living with new friends."

Activities

Windsong Living has a very convenient location, close to many senior activities. Its building stands adjacent to a five-acre walking park. Windsong Living is also walking distance to the Colorado Springs East Library and its large variety of activities: computer classes, book clubs, speakers, and events.

Socializing

Colorado Springs has a myriad of cultural events to which we provide courtesy transportation.  In addition to outside events, Windsong Living has many social, in-house activities for our residents and we welcome suggestions for our planned activities.
